What is the Harris Township Board?

The 3-member Harris Township Board works with the Township Trustee to serve the ~25,000 residents of Harris Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana.

The main responsibilities of township government are parks, township assistance, and emergency services (as part of Clay Fire Territory, now merging with Penn Fire Territory).

Harris Township covers the northeast corner of St. Joseph County, including households east of Gumwood Rd. (Main St.) and north of Douglas Rd.
